Tom Smith
Tom lives in Novato and has been working her for nine years, specializing in repair and fabrication. He has worked for Huffaker Engineering, John Greenwood Racing, McLaren NA., National Enginnering, Bignott-Cotter Racing, Electra Motive, and Newman-Hass Racing. After work, he enjoys vintage kart racing and follows his interest in Luftwaffe Ace Erich Hartmann.
Tom has worked extensively in racing. From 1968 to 975, he was involved in SCCA's Can-Am, F-5000, and Trans-Am. Other racing experience includes: 1983 USAC Indianapolis 500 with Tom Sneva; 1977 IMSA Camel GT+FIA Group 5/BMW; 1989, 1990, 1991 with CART for Mario Andretti and Michael Andretti; 1976 John Greenwood's Corvette at LeMans; 1987 & 1988 IMSA GTP Ford Probe; 1971 & 1972 NHRA with Don Prudhomme, Dick Landy, & Kent Fuller; 1978 & 1979 SCCA Can-Am II with George Follmer & Bobby Rahal - Prophet; 1975 SCCA F-5000 LBGP McOrmack Racking with Chris Amon/Talon.
